Andrea Bocelli is a performer who has an immense amount of talent, so much so that even great singers like Celine Dion have praised his voice and skills. His performances are always a huge success, and fans travel from many countries to see him live. As of 2019, he has quite the selection of shows coming up for you to see him at. Andrea Bocelli was born in Tuscany, Italy in 1958. As a child, he had partial blindness until he was completely blind after a sports accident. But that didn’t stop him. In fact, he pushed harder and learned to play several instruments, including the piano and drums. He also loved to sing as a child and wrote his first song at the age of 18. When Bocelli was in college, he would perform in piano bars to make a little extra cash.

When an Italian artist held auditions for singers to make a demo of his song, Bocelli took the chance and was successful. His tape landed him a spot with the artist in the recording studio, and he actually went with him on his European tour. From then on, Bocelli’s popularity continued to rise.
