Slayer Tour Schedule
 
Slayer is a trash metal band that has been ripping the stage with its aggressive music. This is a unique style inherent to only a few music groups known to the vast audience. Its songs cover such topics as death, terrorism, war, and many more, but their fans would give anything to see Slayer on stage. Unfortunately the group has announced that it intends to leave the stage and 2019 will be the last year. The farewell tour started in 2018 and will continue in March, 2019 (Riverstage, Brisbane) and end in October (Rock in Rio, Rio de Janeiro).
 
Slayer’s Background
 
Slayer originally consisted of 3 musicians: vocalist Tom Araya and guitarists Jeff Hanneman, and Kerry King. Their common path began in 1981. For over 30-year long career Slayer had recorded 12 studio albums, 6 videos and 2 live albums. The band has had numerous Grammy nominations where it won 2 awards. Jeff Hanneman, the founder of the group, who unforunately has died in 2013, occupies together with Kerry King the 10th position on the Guitar World magazine’s “Top 100 Metal Guitarists of All Time”.
 
Slayer‘s Greatest Hits
 
Slayer plays the most extreme music among all metal bands. It had a huge impact on thrash and death metal. The main features of the bands’ songs are fast pace, guitar solos, and screaming vocal. The first smashing hit to come out from the darkness is “Raining Blood”. This song along with “Angel Of Death”, “Bloodline”, “Bitter peace” and “Repentless” have changed the idea of the hard metal music style forever.
