Anouk is a Dutch singer and record producer. She has been in the music industry from the get go and has produced several hit songs that have remained on the Dutch music scene throughout the years. She produces a wide range of musical styles, from hard rock to soft and soothing tracks. Anouk has amassed thousands of fans outside her Dutch ones and shows no signs of stopping any time soon.

 

Her fans have to get their tickets ready because Anouk only has a few dates set up for live concerts this year. Her first date is on April 30th in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Anouk Teeuwe, simply known as Anouk on stage, was born in The Hauge, Netherlands in 1975. She had a troubled childhood and ran into drugs at an early age. This caused her to be in and out of several care homes by the age of 14. But she got found some relief in music and sang with a band called Shotgun Wedding when she was just 15. She began digging deeper into music after that and joined a few different bands and writers to start her solo career. Success would come early, as she hit the top of Dutch, Swedish, and Norwegian charts with her second single, “Nobody’s Wife.”
