Ed Sheeran Tour Schedule

Ed Sheeran is an English songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. Although he’s based in the UK, Ed Sheeran has become extremely popular worldwide, especially in the U.S. and other major music markets. Sheeran fans have a lot to look forward to in 2019, as he’s scheduled to perform across the globe. He starts off his 2019 tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil on February 13th and moves to cities like Johannesburg, Cape Town, Seoul, Bangkok, Lyon, and Leeds, among others. After travelling the world, he winds down his tour in Ipswich, UK on August 26th.

 

Ed Sheeran Background

Ed Sheeran’s full name is Edward Christopher Sheeran. He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England in 1991. As a child, Ed was exposed to music at a young age, as he sang in his church choir at age 4 and began learning to play the guitar. Sheeran started to record his own music and released his work titled, Spinning Man, in 2004. He released a few EPs before he was signed to Asylum Records in 2011.

Sheeran released his single, “The A Team,” and quickly topped the UK Singles Chart at number three. Subsequent releases from his album, +, were also met with similar success. These singles and albums were met with a great enthusiasm from fans and led Ed to international fame fairly quickly.

With his lifelong dedication to music, it seems that almost anything Ed works on turns out to be amazing. This is true for both his solo songs and the songs he produces for others or collaborates with others on. Some of his greatest music includes his songs “You Don’t Need Me, I Don’t Need You,” “Lego House,” “Drunk,” “Shape of You,” “Perfect,” “Castle on the Hill,” “Photograph,” “Little Things,” and “Thinking Out Loud.” He’s received awards in both the UK and the U.S. for his music.
